InTouch Travel hosts are not “tour guides” that you hire for a quick afternoon of sightseeing. Rather, they invite you, the traveler, to share their professional expertise and personal lives, generally for two days.

The price of an InTouch Travel program is $600 per day for a single guest, $325 per day per guest for two guests, and $250 per day per guest for groups of three or four guests.

We would be pleased to book hotel or B&B accommodations on your behalf, using your credit card as a guarantee. We charge a one-time $100 booking fee for this service.

The price of InTouch Travel programs is $650.00 per guest per day, with a minimum of two guests, for two days.

Hotel accommodation is not included in the price of your InTouch program. As a convenience to our guests, we are able to book lodging on your behalf in the specific neighborhood hotels selected and recommended by your host.

The following is a guide, though this will vary city-by-city, of prices per room for two people, per night, and includes breakfast at the hotel:

Five-star luxury hotel: $400.00 per night; Four-star deluxe hotel: $300.00 per night; Three-star superior tourist hotel or bed & breakfast: $ 200.00 per night

We would be pleased to book accommodations on your behalf, using your credit card as a guarantee. We charge a one-time $100.00 booking fee for this service.

Please Note

Hotel rooms in Europe can be significantly smaller than rooms in American hotels. Bed sizes are not always the same as in the US. European "double beds" are usually equivalent to an American "queen-size". King-size beds can sometimes be two twin mattresses with a single sheet & cover. Single rooms are almost always quite small; single guests who want space should specify "double room for single occupancy" and be prepared to pay a supplement.

Your confirmed reservation for any two-day program with the host of your choice, plus any additional services added to the program, constitutes acceptance of our General Terms and Conditions.

Deposit

A non-refundable US $500 per couple (US $250 per person) deposit is required upon submitting a signed reservation form to secure a booking.

After submitting the reservation form, you will be directed to a web page that will allow you to forward your deposit online through PayPal. After you have submitted your credit card information, you will receive an email confirming our receipt of your deposit. Simultaneously, In Touch Travel will also receive notification of your deposit, along with your reservation form.

You can also submit your deposit by check. However, to insure that your deposit reaches us within the time-frame required to confirm your reservation, you may prefer to provide banking information to us by telephone.

Full Payment

If the program date is 60 days prior to the first day of travel or less, full payment is required either by check or by credit card upon reservation. The balance for a program is due 60 days prior to program start by check or credit card payments. (Any questions or concerns, please contact us.)

Travel Insurance

InTouch Travel, LLC recommends that guests consider purchasing travel insurance in order to avoid the expense involved in canceling a trip in the event of an unforeseen emergency. The purchase of travel insurance, which covers cancellation due to medical reasons, default and/or airline strike, weather, etc, is strongly advised. We recommend the policy sold by AccessAmerica.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS Registered WA Seller of Travel No. 602-415-752 Once you've decided to journey further... These terms and conditions are part of your contract with In Touch Travel LLC. Your signature on the Reservation Request constitutes your acknowledgement that you have read this document and have accepted these terms and conditions. Refunds if you cancel: Deposits are refundable, as specified in the following paragraph, for six weeks from the day we confirm your reservation, or until 60 days before the date of the first In Touch Travel service. InTouch Travel strictly adheres to this cancellation policy and cannot make exceptions. Refunds if we cancel: Full refunds will be made if the InTouch Travel host cancels a tour. Notice of cancellations: All cancellations must be made in writing and are effective upon receipt in our office. Cancellations received up to 60 days prior to departure are refunded, less US$250. No refunds are made for cancellations received within 60 days of departure. InTouch Travel "guarantees" programs for its participants, that is: we promise that the selected host will render the services described for the dates requested. We ensure this by guaranteeing payment to the host and other parties involved in the program 60 days before you arrive. Therefore it is not possible to refund, or even reapply a payment to honor our payments to our hosts and other suppliers (hotels, restaurants, transportation, etc.). Tour prices: All prices are based on a minimum of two guests for a two-day program. Single and triple reservations are available with a price adjustment. Price is subject to change without notice as a result of adverse economic changes or currency fluctuations that may affect air/land transportation, hotels, or other related service providers. Tour price includes: Drinks, snacks and incidental expenses (including local transportation, admissions fees, gratuities, etc.), paid by your host for the two days that you spend with your host; and an honorarium for your host. Lodging: Lodging is not included in the basic price of the InTouch Travel program. Guests may request that InTouch book rooms for them at a hotel recommended by their host. Such booking involves InTouch as an agent for the guest, not the hotel. Note that rooms in European hotels can be smaller than in America. Unless other arrangements are made, guests are responsible for their own hotel bills. Air travel: Air travel to and from the trip destination is not included (unless specified). Private Transfer: If a private transfer has been arranged as an additional service, it is the responsibility of the tour participant to be at the designated transfer point at the designated time. Accommodations: When you travel with InTouch Travel, you'll stay in a variety of lodgings that have been recommended and pre-selected by the host of your choice. Please note that all rooms may at times be smaller than American style accommodations. Tour itineraries are subject to change: Travel is always full of surprises. No changes in an itinerary are expected, but your host reserves the right to make them if necessary. Uncompleted portions of the itinerary are not cause for a refund. Disabilities: Any preexisting physical, mental, or emotional disability that may require attention must be reported in writing prior to the beginning of the tour. Travel documents: It is the responsibility of each tour participant to obtain and carry a valid passport, visa(s), and any other documents required by applicable government regulations. Non US residents may require special travel documents. Check with your local embassy or consulate. General Responsibilities and things you should know: InTouch Travel, LLC. does not own or operate any of the suppliers of services. As a result, it is not responsible for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any such supplier or of any third party over whom InTouch Travel, LLC. has no control. InTouch Travel, LLC. and its representatives act only in the capacity of an agent arranging for travel services, which may include air and land transportation, hotel accommodations, restaurants, transportation and the services of a host of your choice, who in turn provides additional services for a specified program. Each tour participant agrees that InTouch Travel, LLC and its representatives shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity, liability or expense to person or property due to any act of default of hotel, air or land transportation carrier, restaurant supplier or other contractor rendering or providing services. InTouch Travel, LLC. and its representatives shall not be responsible for any expense or liability resulting from labor disputes, war, acts of terrorism, government restraints, weather conditions, sickness, pilferage or any other cause beyond their control. InTouch Travel, LLC. and its representatives reserve the right to accept, or to retain or refuse any person as a participant of any tour or to cancel any program of a tour if circumstances so demand.
